I have given private tuition to a number of pupils with excellent results. Tips For Writing A Tutor Profile
When creating a tutor profile, it can be helpful to include:
Qualifications
Clearly state any degrees, teaching qualifications or professional credentials.
Teaching Experience
Outline your classroom, tutoring or educational experience.
Subjects And Levels
Specify the subjects and academic levels you teach.
Teaching Approach
Describe how you work with students and support their progress.
Results And Achievements
Where appropriate, mention examination success, university admissions support or specialist expertise.
There is no single correct way to write a tutor profile. Some tutors focus on their qualifications and teaching experience, while others highlight their subject expertise, examination experience or teaching style. The most effective tutor profiles give prospective students and parents a clear understanding of the tutor’s background, approach and areas of specialism.
